| I am from Banner Elk NC. I am currently a feshmen going for a B.S in CIS with a Math cognate, and a minor in Business. I am 19 years old as of Nov. 27 2002. I like computers and space. I play mostly on my computer when not in school and play Ulima Online. Back to homework! |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Yes, We could discover whenever, who knows. The benefits would be the exchange of ideas and the dangers could be that they are a military and colonizing society. Other dangers would come from earth, religious beliefs being torn apart and people getting scared of an invasion or something stupid like that.
2.Yes. Most likely we should send information about our society and planet.
3.I run it because its always good to help out science. One day this might become a benefit to someone. I think that the whole SETI project in general is a great thing. Wish I could run multiple clients for the Seti@home project. |
