Personal background
Originally from Vancouver Canada and moved down to Arizona in 1976 eventually winding up in Tucson in 1990. I am currently working as a Reporting Analyst for C3-Customer Contact Channels. During my spare time I play with my webpage which I have loaded on my own personal LAMP server running on a Raspberry Pi B computer in my living room. I have written all my own HTML and CMS code which show folks how to set up their own servers on the same platform as mine with minimal cost to the owner. I also enjoy going to live concerts and have a audio podcast serving up some of the best live music of the 60's,70's,80's and 90's with artists like the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Hot Tuna and others. I served 8 years in the United States Navy serving onboard two aircraft carriers, Carl Vinson and Ranger, as well as 3 years in a Combat Search And Rescue helicopter squadron. I have an A.S. of Applied Sciences in Small Systems Administration and am currently working on degrees in Cyber Security and Linux.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I failed to find much intelligent life on this planet, so I decided to assist in the search for smarter beings elsewhere. I love this project and have been itching to get a new computer and get back into the game. I am planning on setting up several raspberry pi's on my network fir the soul purpose of crunching down SETI@ home data.
