UK Expat hiding in Canada - Don't want to go back to the UK, so I figure my only hope is finding ET and hitching a ride!

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Must exist - we've only seen one planet in detail and it has life... good odds
2. Don't see why not - if anyone has the technology to get here from another star then we can't do anything to stop them whether they're friendly or otherwise. We've been announcing our presence for decades, why not make it formal?
3. I run SETI@home for a few reasons... I really hope the project does find some sign that intelligent life (?) isn't just a cosmic hiccup.
