I'm a 30 year old software developer from Zurich, Switzerland. My hobbies are computers, astronomy and scuba diving.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
If it ever happens that we meet other life forms, they must be very, very intelligent. Otherwise they could not have managed to travel such long ways through the universe. I'm also quite sure that any life form who gets to be this intelligent, must have existed for a long time. For surviving these times, they must certainly have found a way to live in peace together and with others.

I think we already send lots of information about ourselves through the universe, and it will be found some time by some one. Whether we will still be there is the big question.

There is a faint hope in me, that there will be a result showing us that we are not alone. But even if not, I think it is a must to fulfill such an experiment, and if it fails, we will start others...
