Engineer for a major aerospace corporation. Letting my work computer use all the excess CPU processing time to search. My feeling is the computer is on all the time anyway, it might as well be doing something useful
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI at home because I am interested in finding evidence of other life in this universe. My attitude is given all the space and the myriad of stars that we can see in just this galaxy, how can there not be other intelligent life!! It just seems so egocentric to believe that man is the only lifeform in the entire universe...if so...what a terrible waste of space!
