Hi I am Yeroon from Nijmegen in the Netherlands. Been participating with Seti@home since 1999 and am still crunching away.
I run my own software co. which specilizes in MS Access front-end databases. I joined the MVPS Seti team cause I often use their resources when developing/programming. This is the least I could do to return a favor :)
At the moment my home PC is crunching units at an average speed of 3 hours and 25 mins. Pretty fast I would think, but things can always go faster of course!!

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

As for my thoughts on SETi... well I sure think there is something out there. If it's not intelligent life, then at least non-intelligent. Seti is trying to find some proof, and I sure hope they do find it.
We will just have to wait and see won't we? And if we don't find anything, well it's also fun to get high in the progress/performance charts. The element of competition is there (at least for me!).
And even though SETI is always running (not just idle time), it doesnt bother me or my puters performance, so I'll just let it go on running.
