| I am currently a student at The George Washington University though I am origionally from a small town just outside of the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA. Though I am a student, I am also employed by the University doing random computer stuff. I also have many interests, from computers to wine (or basically alcoholic drinks in general) and from music to women. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Extraterrestrial life has to exist. The Earth is a very special place and is
the perfect evironment for our type of life, however, who says the only type
of life is our type of life? How can we be sure that there is not other life
that has evolved totally differently from us? There are so many galaxies out
there and all of them have so many different stars contained within, that at
least one (probably many) have to possess life of some sort. I would say the
odds of that life being like us is pretty slim, but hey, you never know. I just
want to meet one some day and take him/her/it out for a beer (or something of
the sort) and attempt to communicate with him/her/it. |
