Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Does ET really exist? well that isnt really a question for me to answer. Do i hope that out there someone else is looking to the sky as i am now? yes yes i do there is a lot of space out there and if there is someone out there like us doin as we do the possibilities are endless.
I dont think a beacon is needed from us. we already emmit numerous radio waves from right around the world displaying everything that happens to us. isnt that enough to show what we really are. Sure were not perfect but i doubt that anyone else out there is either.
I run SETI cause i have hope. that there is something better. other then that to get the most amount of units. but i am a long way off from that.
The truth is that ET isnt our choice its Gods. and there is nothing we can do about it. There is no harm in hunting and if we turn out with nothing then nothing lost.
