Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.Extraterrestrial life should exist, the question arises: Do they? 'If' there are intelligent life forms, how far technologically are they? or are we the advanced life forms?
I believe we have already encountered extraterrestrial life forms. Can societies or even countries accept a dramatic change in mindset? The implications of belief or faith?
We as humans fight amonst ourselves violently...What hopes do we have of introducing Extraterrestrial life? Well! It may bring people all together as one race instead of many...to protect our species.

There are always two sides to a coin - there are always dangers of such extraterrestrial discovery - biological, chemical contamination,'Force-superiorority, power struggle' (battle of human traits)...

2.No beacons should be transmitted. If we are to find Extraterrestrial life we should be the ones to observe them..., no contact initially. Information and knowledge is what the human race is all about or so we have been told - that in itself provides other races with an idea of intelligence, superiority, power and also if need be fear.

We do not know what is out there and therefore we should be cautious.

3. Knowledge is a dangerous and powerful thing - Does SETI know more than we have been led to belive?

There are paradox: documentries depicting alien existence.. Was man landing on the moon an expensive hoax during the cold war. Or is this a way to focus and control society towards some goal?

What can we do? We can play along with it, until something is presented and cannot be pushed under a carpet..... a cynic perhaps; we have been told many things to confuse us - what do you believe?
