| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1/I am sure there is extraterrestrial life somewhere out there,and i hope it will be discovered during my lifetime.I think the benefits would for example be that people on this planet would see each other as equals.The dangers could be
for example mass hysteria,its difficult to speculate.
2/If i am not too wrong,radio and tv signals has allready been transmitted all since it was invented,but if we should send a specific signal,then it should tell something about us,where we are and so on.
3/I run seti because i think it is interesting, and i hope it will detect a signal soon.I think it was a brilliant idea to use as many computers as possible to go thru all the material,and i hope many more would join. |
