Born in Lake Charles, LA. Living in Houston, TX., working as a contract computer programmer for the last couple of years, after a ten-year sojourn in northern Virginia.
I'm haunted by an inordinate interest in all things scientific and mathematical, including music. I've been known to play acoustic guitar, and to sing publicly on occasion. Poetry and literature (and public recitations of such) are in the grab bag too; I've spent a lifetime trying not to focus too closely on any one thing.
I believe the SETI project is absolutely destined for success, but probably not in my lifetime. Somehow that belief makes my participation mandatory, not optional. |
