I think in the vast cosmos that we know of, it is extremely small minded to believe we are alone.
I don't think it will be a case of us descovering them, rather them visiting us.
It could lead to wondeful breakthroughs in technology, science etc.
It would also change the political structure of the world forever.
We would no longer be British,American,Russian etc, but instead be humans.
A big change in the way we see ourselves.
I run seti, because I think the project is a good idea, getting people involved
so they feel part of the project.
