| I am a self employed female computer geek living in So. Cal. My hobbies include computers (tearing them down and building them back up again, among other things); astronomy; drawing,painting,computer graphic arts and photography; reading; writing fiction; traveling; hiking; camping; fishing and finally my newest fun thing, kayaking. I am fortunate, in that if I chose, I am able to set off on a long weekend with family or friends,have a great time shareing our mutual or sometimes not so mutual interests. But we always enjoy. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I started running SETI@home a number a years ago using the classic version, then changed over to the Bionic version when it became available. I have always believed in the probability that we are not alone. That some day, in some way, undisputable proof will be discovered,revealed or dropped in our laps that this is the case. I take great honor in the fact that in some small way I am possibly contributing to bringing that proof about. The scope of this project is huge and actually mind numbing in its enormity but also tremendously worthwhile. I just want to say thank you to all the dedicated men and women who have worked so hard to continue the endeavour and actually do all the really hard work. |
