Personal background
Hi, I'm 32 and live in Harlow in the county on Essex in England (UK) I work as a Commercial Manager for a Civil Engineering Company. It's nice to be able to help in the search for ET. I'm also on a mission to get 100 units completed to start climbing up the leaderboard (men and their scoring, we never change, hee, hee)

I not a member of a group yet, so if any fellow Essex members would like to start one to combine our points, then email me. (this won't affect your personal scoring of course).

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes: I think ET exists. I'm not too worried about meeting one, as I think intelligent life would be friendly. Saying that I wouldn't like to be touched on the shoulder at three in the morning while asleep even by one who's friendly. Lets hope they can learn our general human un-written rules first, before thay say hello. I also hope that ET won't look upon us as primative animals to use as experiments, or lock up in a zoo or something. I would be keen to meet ET to find out more about our universe, and our history. I wouldn't expect them to pass on their technology (as the prime directive in star trek), but don't see a problem with pointing us in the right direction, or showing us a few space maps or something.

Anyway hope this data crunching works out, and the nice Americans tell us if we do actually contact one. The chances are government agencies are monitoring how many SETI members there're and our feelings on the subject. The more members there're the more open these governments might be with the data they probably already hold on the ET subject.

Anyway nice chatting, see ya at the ET welcome party !!!!!
