Personal background
to all who read, firstly "If we were alone in this universe then it would be pretty much waste of SPACE". well i am from london, but have my roots in India. i am 30 and still going strong. Hopefully with all of us working together we should be able to locate some life out there (atleast in my my life time). I have my own company right now. it has to do with the networking industry. well i don't know what else to say. so i better stop wasting processor time typing and let the computer do its job (finding life).

to all

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
like i said if we are the only ones here its pretty much waste of space. as for the SETI program its cool to be able to help. just wondering why no one thought of it sooner like in the 80's maybe we could have some results by now. but as they say better late than never. as for how humans discover it. well its simple there is a time and place for everything and when it happens all will know till then we all have to wait. and as no one has found a way to predict the future, who knows when and who will be the luck ones. as for the sending of information out well in this day and age there is a lot of air communication going on and i am sure if we dont send anything someone will pick up what is already there. so why waste time firing messages in the dark, instead send messages out to places where there is hope of finding life (i.e. use the data that is being processed around the world). as to why i run this program on my machine well it would be foolish to say that i would not be excited to be the one who hits the jackpot. cause i sure would love to hit the jackpot.
