Not much to say really. 24 y/o from Stoke on Trent in Central UK. Currently working as a Croupier in my local casino, good fun but can get a little hectic. Good IT background (software and hardware), I custom built my own system which is running Dual Athlon MP 1900 with 1gig of DDR2100 RAM. Running 2 command-line SETI clients, one on each processor.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Is there life out there? Yes. The universe is far to vast for us to feasably be the only planet with intelligent life. I believe the only way we are going to discover it is either through projects like SETI@home or them coming and saying a big "HELLO" to the people of earth. I think the former is the most likely.
