Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think you've got to be really naive to think that we're the only ones in this galaxy or universe even.
I think if the extraterrestrials want to be found we'll find them ...if not then we'll be looking for ever. Anyway they already know where here.

What information should we send hey ... whats to say they can decipher what we send anyway so who knows whats the best info to send. Maybe we should let them know what sort of barbarians we are, destroying our own planet. Mind you thats probably why they don't show themselves because they already know.

I run SETI@home because I wish to contribute to finding and proving that there is life elsewhere. And we obviously can't seem to stop ourselves destroying the planet but maybe they can help us stop.
Keep up the good work everyone ... one day we will succeed. Hopefully before its too late for all of us.
