Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do you think extraterrestrial life exists?
Yes.

If so, when and how will humans discover it?
We already have.

What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?
The benefits and dangers go hand in hand.
The extraterrestrial life has information that is more advanced than ours is and with that
knowledge will bring great danger if it is not used in the proper manner.

Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find?
Yes.

If so, what information should we send?
That we mean no harm and wish only to learn from them.

Why do you run SETI@home?
There is other life out there.

What are your views about the project?
It is a great idea and I am happy to participate.
