Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes, I do think that extraterrestrial life exist. It would be a very arrogant thing to do, thinking we are the only living being in the universe. And it would be very sad to. But I don't think that, in the near future, we wil have physical contact with any extraterestrial life. I don't think it is technical possible to overcome the great distances. But I do believe that, someday, we will discover other life in the universe. Maybe Seti will do that or maybe we will discover an other technology that wil do it. But one day .............! That is what I hope for.

2. Should we transmit a beacon for other life to find? No, I dont think so. If extraterrestrial life have the technology to find other life in the universe, they find us anyway. And I believe in fate. If it is our destiny to be discovered by other life, it wil happen. If we do something about it or not.

3. Why I run Seti@home? Because I want to believe that someday in my lifetime, we will discover any sign of life, out there.
And if Seti@home is the program to do this, the more people run Sety, the better.
