One day while surfing the internet, I happened upon the AmericanStickmakers Association's website, and saw my first woodspirit walking sticks. That was August of 2000. In between flare-ups with a disability that I have, I have been carving walking sticks, wizards, and woodspirits ever since.

I have always been good with my hands. I was a bricklayer for 14 years before my back gave out. I have always performed maintenance and repairs on my vehicles and home. However, my drawing abilities are zero, zilch, nada! I had never considered myself an artist. When I am freeing woodspirits, I invite them to help me by guiding my hands. I take little credit, for the finished creation. My work can be described as self-taught folk art, or the revival of an ancient art form.

I am passionate about freeing these woodspirits, and I hope you enjoy your visit. Each walking stick is custom made, and has it's own unique personality.
