| Hey, I'm Dan, a college student leaving his computer on for more than file sharing :) I do primarily computer related activities, school, hang out with friends and sleep, in reverse order of significance. Nothing thought provoking from me, too early in the day. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I hope peaceful extraterrestrials exist. I would think that radio frequencies will be the key to their discovery. I think the benefits involve people thinking outside of their shell that perhaps we are not the most advanced civilization ever. I don't think there are any dangers because by the time we recieve a signal, their civilization has expanded half the galaxy or has failed. I run seti at home to help discover intelligent life and give my computer something useful to do. |
