Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes I think it does exist. I think the line from contact says it all. I totally believe that if there isnt life out there then thats an awful waste of space!
I do think we should contiue to search for life and to transmit a beacon so that they can find us too. Generally speaking I think that the alphabet and numbers are a good way to go and then a sort of dictionary type of thing. That way if they are intelligent they can put it all together and talk to us!
I love seti@home - I've even got my dad (who's still in the UK) to look into it too! We love the idea that something we are doing could help in that search!
