I think that people that think that there is no life on other planets probably think the earth is flat also.
I believe that in my lifetime, I am 34 years old, that the human race will discover other sentient life.
I know that sending our own beacon is a risk, but we must believe that there are other races that are close to our timeline that are doing the same as us.
