My opinions on SETI@HOME runs along the lines that it is 99.99% certain that their is life outside our solar system. If such life is able to travel between the stars, we would be about as advanced to them as the horseshoe crab,thus I doubt we would ever see "ET". (Sorry for you "cover up" theory folks if the US Mil even thought their were aliens, they would be screamin' for more money, technology and would tell everyone they could to shore up their power.)
As for the sugestion that we could transmit a signal, we have been, almost constanly for almost 100 years, and by the time it got anywhere that could find it and they replied, we might not even be the top species anymore! |
