I'm a 19-year old guy from Finland. I have started my physics studies in the University of Jyväskylä. Most of my hobbies involve computers in one way or another. I'm also big fan of certain Scifi-series (namely Babylon 5).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yea, extraterrestrial life definitely exists.. Not sure when we will discover it though.
2. Yep, we could transmit some kind of beacon.. It would need to be something easily found from the background noise and stuff..
3. Well.. my options are to run either System Idle Process or Seti@home... Chose the latter.. go figure.
