Personal background
I learned some years ago from a friend from the internet from the same town as me about the Seti@home. I really liked the idea to help out by donating cpu power to seti. So I ran home to get started my self. At that time is was on an pen 2 350 so i took some time pr. wu ;)But i have had some breaks and then started again and so on. Right know I run it on 2 cpu's and one of them at the home of a friend. The more we can help the better :) It would be great if we can find something out there :)My age right know is 27 (december 2001) and i have run seti@home for a little over 2 years. My main hoppy is computers and internet :) cu out there
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I really like to helt out in the search for life in outer space. It would be selfish to think that life only can exist here on this one planet. And if I can help to serach for "others" I'll be glad to help out. I'll really make me happy if some day we found something and on that day I can truely say that I have done my part in the search. I think we'll find something out there some day. The greatest possibillity in my oppinion is to find others then are equal interessted in life on other planets as we on earth is. I think that those would be the first to get in outer space. I don't think that any lifeform would get to spacetravel just to start a war like that. But some day we'll see for our selfs :)
