I live in Portage, Indiana. I have Sony VAIO PCG-FRV27 Laptop with Windows XP Home SP-2 and a DELL Deminsion 3000 with Xandros 3.0 dual booting Windows XP SP-2.
Well things have changed, the VAIO doesn't work no longer and the DELL was sold to a needy family. So now that I am back, here is the new pc I am working with:
HP Pavilion 9035nr Laptop currently running XP MCE 2005, for at least another 2 weeks, then I will be getting my free copy of Vista! yoohoo!! |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I have always liked the idea of finding ET and would gladley give over spare computing cycles. I usually don't use my PC much now anyway, so I leave it running SETI and it has a constant connection to the net anyway.
Give it time and we will find something. Of course the idea of looking where we think ET will transmit at depends on how highley evolved they are and if they have the tech to transmit at that frequency. But hey, give them time and we will find them and hopefully they will find us too. |
