My name is Adam and I am a 19 year old who's a freshman in college. I am majoring in physics with an aspiration to become an Astronaut. I live on a farm in southern Louisiana where my family raises Paint Horses.
I was nomanated in to Whos Who Among American High School Students all four years of high school. I can be found in the 33rd, 34th, 35th, & 36th edditions. Only 1%of the high school enrolment gets this honnor multiple times. I was also naminated in to 3 different award catagoris in the United States Achievement Academy.
I have a large variety of animals of my own, including my show horse, Buffy. Buffy (the horse in the picture with me) is my Overo Paint filly. She was foaled (born) on February 27, 1997. I've been working with Buffy since she was born. Her Dame (her mom) was a champion show horse named Triple Grand. Both of Triple Grands' parents were World Champions. Their names are Triples Titan and One Hundred Grand. Buffys sire (her dad), Dee Link, is also a World Champion. Buffy is beautiful and I showed her in APHA and 4-H shows. I showed Buffy for 5 years in 4-H. The first two years buffy was Reserve Champion at the state leve. The final three years Buffy was Grand Champion on the state level. I have showed buffy four times on the national 4-H level and placed 5th her fist year and reserve champion the final three. Buffy is now a APHA Superior youth halter mare and is retired from the show circut. She will now have many very beautiful babies.
I have a 4.5 inch meade reflector telescope. I don't use it as much as i would like but it dose get used. I also have acces to a 16 inch 100 percent computerized telescope. This is the telescope that is used by Louisiana State University. It is really a great telescope. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I think SETI is a great thing. I can't say that when we will find an Extraterrestrial Intelligence but I am sure that we will find them one day. SETI give people all over the world the opertunity to participate in this research. The day that we find Extraterrestiral Intelligence is the day that our world will change forever. I don't plan to stop running this program anytime soon and encourage others to participate. |
