Profile: Matthew Jenkins

Personal background
I am a broad spectrum computer engineer with good groundings in the majority of all aspects of computing - from networking and internet operations to hardware and diagnostics, software programming to graphical design.

As well as working as IT manager for a small UK firm, I also single handedly run my own ISP and Unix maintenance service.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The laws of statistics state that life must exist out there somewhere. With more and more planets being discovered around other stars, and more and more theories around that life on earth originated from extra-terrestrial bacteria, the question we should be asking is "where in the universe is there NO intellegent life?".
