Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe E.T. life could exist, and when it is found it shouldn't be disturbed, but observed.

I hope we would try to make our presence known to any and all life form in the universe, letting them know that we are here.

I run SETI@home because I believe that this is one of the most ingenious ways of getting this amount of research done through the efforts of many many computers. This is a way for people to become involved in the search for extraterrestrial life without having to put forth a major effort to get involved -we simply use our existing computers' down time to process the millions of bytes of information.
