Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home to donate my unused CPU cycles to a worthwhile cause. I don't think we are likely to intercept an alien greeting, because we don't know for sure that radio is the band of the electromagnetic spectrum we should be listening for. Regardless, the data we collect and analyze is still useful.
