Personal background
I am enrolled in a PhD with the Center for Quantum Computing, my research project is entitled "Point Defect Studies for Next Generation Silicon based Devices".
I am keen to help Australian science prosper having attended Science Meets Parliament 2002, serving on the Victorian branch committee of the Australian Institute of Physics, the Victorian National Science Week organising committee and the Postgraduate Physics Students Society committee.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
As to whether E.T. life exists, I cannot discount it just as I cannot discount the existance of god(s). Unlike religion however, we can set out to find explicit evidence for the existance of E.T. life.
