I am 60 years old and retired. I just thought I help out in the SETI program.
I did 15 years in the Army, Retired as a Sergeant. Worked for 26 years in the Queensland Railways as a Fitter/Boilermaker. My last 5 years I co-managed the Stuart Wagon Maintainance Depot.
I am Currently putting all my old Vinyls onto CD and my old home Video on to DVD.
We live in Beaudesert which is about 75 Klms south of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
I now have my own 60 square metre shed down the back yard in which I can indulge my various hobbies. I also have a lounge and library built in as part of the shed. My very own Dog House.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Too much stuff out there for life not to exist in some form.
2. Yes. DNA string.
3. Found the programme and decided to do my bit. Apart from the usual general knowledge I know little about Astronomy.
