Personal background
Greeting from Jakarta, I am an engineer and love nature. So I get out as much as my responsibilites allow me and bring my family along.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Now, I am a believer in God Almighty and not everything can be put in the Good Book. Otherwise, we will all be old before we even get halfway. So He gave us what we can handle and relevant to the human population, salvation, whether we consciously seek it or not.

However, for some (by this I meant us, ha ha ha) who knows He exists and would like to explore His creations in a form we know as science, we simply do what we do best "explore, learn, and discover". SETI is one of this.

And oh yeah, don't tell me that science is proof that God doesn't exist. The universe doesn't revolve around what pass for human science. The universe exist before we do and will last after we most likely don't due to our own idiocy. NOTHING, happens in this world without His knowing or permission.
