I am a 40-something IT and Communications Systems Project Manager with a small home network (currently 3 home-built machines and one ancient IBM laptop) running BOINC with SETI at 100%. I live in the West Country in the UK, near the beautiful City of Bath. Nice City - hate shopping.
As well as being heavily into computers, I love to ride my motorcycle - when allowed! Raw 1000cc V-Twin power under my control - a bit like attempting to get a new home-built PC to work first time!

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I guess I got into SETI after reading about it in PC Format back in 2001 - so signed up and joined! I am now hooked, and would like to think that we are not alone. If enough of us continue searching, who knows, we might just find something.
I would like to believe that in my lifetime, we will be contacted.
I run my network 24-7 (except for occassional power interuptions and crashes), and process BOINC SETI on my three PCs.
