Profile: Capt. Janeway

Personal background
Five years ago, I would have laugh if someone came up to me and asked if I believed in live in outer space. Well alot can change in five years such as falling in love with a Star Trek Fan. We started to watch the show together and the more I watched, the more I began to think that this isn't as far fetched as I would have thought not to long ago.

I was born in Cleveland, Oh to a small but nice family. I spent my life there up to the age of 20 when I met my future husband over the internet. Come on, it wasn't that way. His current "relationship" was with my cousin and she had moved up to Ohio to live with us. They stayed in touch via the net and by way of her I met Jeremy. We began to talk and we stayed in touch even after they split up. I eventually traveled to North carolina to meet him and it was love at first site. I never came back to Ohio. We married and now have a beautiful baby daughter named Kolby.

Star Trek and Science Fiction has since became a huge part of my life and when a friend introduced us to SETi, we just had to start using it.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Obviously, yes I believe in what SETI is trying to do and yes I believe that there is life in outer space.

This is a huge universe fulled with billions of systems and planets filling those systems. If there is lifge on just one of those all this has been worth it to me and my husband.

Life is wonderful and I would love to expand on it to include other species and there cultures.
