Based in the UK in Manchester, I am a Global IT Manager for a software development company. I am 33 and have a wonderful partner - Sue and daughter Sarah. I also have 3 other wonderful children - Hannah, Ben and Sam.

I am interested in most aspects of Media, IT and Photography

I currently run Seti on a 1.333 Ghz Athlon, 768Mb RAM, 120Gb Raid 0 HDD, Athlon 64Mb DDR Graphics Card, S/Blaster Live 1024 with Creative DT2500 Speakers and Windows 2000
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1) As soon as it started
2) Because if an ET form existed - the whole religion philosophy would be finished and the goals of mankind would be altered.

3) I do not think that we will discover them - ET intelligence, if it existed, would probably be in a form that is foreign to us. - As far as we know, we are the only "living" planet - Other "living" planets would be made up of the same elements and therefore - similar life would exist. However, the "master race" would or could be completely different - It was only the fact that an asteroid hit earth that destroyed dinosaus and changed the way the earth was habited.
