I´m born in 1967 and my i got in a first touch with seti in 2000. After some years i startet last year again. I work in Germany at a huge Systemintegrator and i'm interested in all things around computers.
My hobbies are soccer, gaming, cinema and coddle my wife.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

My problem is that i'm reading too much sciencefiction books. In all these years we got an idea what is possible in our mind, perhaps too in the future. Otherwise the mankind has problems to reach the mars. Without help from beyond we won't see all these miracles the universum has.
My second problem is that i' ll die before the mankind will reach the stars. There are so many things to know, but a life of 60 - 80 years is to short to reach all the knowledge and experiences the world offers.
I hope that there is life out of the earth and i mean life to talk to. Plants and so on are are miracle to but it won't help us.
Benefits and dangers ? Much to learn and much to loose. If one side has the character of the present president of the usa it will be a desaster. We should try all possibilities we have to get a contact to other lifeforms.
So i try my best and give my pcs the seti packages.
