| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I definitely believe that extraterrestrial life exists; and not just life, but intelligent life. It seems entirely possible that the conditions that made life favourable on Earth could exist elsewhere.
SETI@Home, in my opinion, is a wonderful way for the common man to get involved with the search for Other Intelligences.
Should we be afraid of ET? Definitely not. Any being advanced enough to want to communicate with us would be intelligent enough to value life in any form or shape. |
