Personal background
I am a native Oregonian for 48yrs and like the scientific investigation of anything. Especially neuropeptides, outerspace, and pharmacology.I avidly read anything I can on those topics.I also find Asian women quite interesting. They seem to be more knowledgeable and definitlly more alluring.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Of course ET exists. We are ET's to somebody(thing, lifeform) just not recognized yet. They will find us before we find them. What they will find though, won't seem too intelligent at first. The religious distress and denial will take it's ugly form in the way of fear, apprehension, paranoia, and a warm wet, stinky feeling in the seat of the pants of religious leaders. Fortunatly not all sentient beings need the baggage of organized religion.Sending a signal to be heard is I believe a waste of resources. The plethora of EM bands and frequencies make it nearly improbable that same exact "station" will be tuned in by ETs.So I think listening for them with as many tuners as possible is a better route. This project is the way to go, and I for one and my roomate are happy to participate.
