| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I run seti@home 24/7 because I do believe that life exists somewhere other than this rock. There is entirely too many other possibilites for no other life to exist, and that is why I run seti@home. There has to be some other intelligent species out there, because they are the only hope for mankind. We as humans will enevitably either kill each other off until no one remains, use up all of the earth's natural resources, or finally become unified when faced with an invasion similar to that of Independence Day. If either of the first two options happen, then an alien species would be our only hope for relocation. In the end, seti@home is about the only way for humans to know if life is other there.
