| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1)One must hope that there is other being besides us in the universe since it's so vast it would be such a great waste of space otherwise. When will we contact them? God willing soon. I see no dangers in such contact, because if "they" had the capabilities to travel to reach us, they could have chosen an endless amount of planets to conquer... why us? The chances are slim.
2)Sure we should... it surely couldn't hurt... because if there is other being out there... "they" might be asking the same question "Are we alone?" Perhaps a variety of different radio signals across the spectrum in an endless loop.
3)I run SETI@Home because I hope that I could contribute, in a small way, to facilitate the work of the employees at Seti. I think the web sight has improved quite a bit.... it would be neat to able to HEAR from you guys hear.... maybe save a portion as a wav file and post it on the web site.
