Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1) Do I think ET life exists? Well, yes. Although I believe that we exist due to at least a weak anthropomorphic mechanism, I believe that there are sufficient chances in the universe to produce multiple instances of life.

2) We absolutely should send beacons, it is our duty. We should send, as often as possible, in a realitively easily decyphered mode, a relatively easy to comprehend overview of our civilization. Omissions of even rather severe progressions could be derived from data supplied. Thus, as long as time referenceces are included, our technological progress may be determined.

3) I run SETI@home because I wish to contribute to the search for extra-terrestrial intelligence. I see it as an alternative to conventional religious experience, seeking physical evidence for divine influence in the creation of life in the universe. I view the project as a noble cause. Suggestions, I am too uninformed to supply valid suggestions.
