Personal background
Hola a todos. I'm Sebastián Cova, from Caracas, Venezuela.

I was born in 1979 and started to study biology in October 1996, but in the fall of 1998 I suffered what can be called a "vocational crisis" that lasted for two years. At the end, I left Biology in January 2001 and went for a period of reflexion.

After trying cinema (which I also love), I finally landed in the Political Science's school of the same University in which I was studying Biology .

Despite the fact that I changed the subject of my studies to a more "human dimension", I still consider myself a biology geek, so... LETS FIND MORE LIFE IN THIS UNIVERSE!! ;-)

Yours, Sebastián Cova

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I first hear about the SETI project in the wonderfull Robert Zemeckis' film adaptation of the book "Contact" by Carl Sagan.

I think this project is the more rational way to JUST TRY to find who else is outthere.

As the Universe is SOOO VAST... we better stop talking and start analysing those pieces of sound.

BRING ON THE NOISE!!
