Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The statistical chances of other life being present in our universe persuades me to believe there is other life, intelligent or no.
I doubt that any intelligent ET life would consider talking to us unless we evolve beyond what we are at the moment. We are still just clever animals and have a far from assured future.
Look at the human genome and cancer projects as well as SETI....they're all equally deserving.
