| I'm 28 years old and live in Auckland, New Zealand with my wife and son. I would like to crunch more chunks of Seti data, but my wife doesn't like having the computers on 24/7, mind you, when you get a $230 power bill (gotta love Mercury Energy) you can kind of see her point. I run a P4 2.26 with 1Gb of RAM, and a P2 300 with 288Mb of RAM. At present I only have Seti on the P4, until I clear out some junk from the P2 and free up some processing power. |

| Is ET out there?? Well, God only knows, so far anyhow. I guess that may well change in the future, but I don't see it happening in the near future. Sure there will be the odd report of someone being abducted and having their bum probed, but in all honesty, these folk are more than likely nutters with little or no self esteem,looking for some attention. If ET was to contact us, I hope definitley hope it would be in a non-hostile manner. You see all these Hollywood portrayals of alien visits, and some of them are bloody scary, and others, well, they are just ludicrous. Remember, anticipation is always worse than the actual event. |
