Profile: Astromeccanica TEAM

Personal background
We are three guys that met for their love of the sky: Paolo, Luciano and Davide.

Paolo is a mechanical engeneer. He is the one that had the idea of Astromeccanica, that is a very small "company" that build and sell astro-amateur stuff, have a look to http://www.astromeccanica.it (Astromeccanica is Paolo himself)

One of us (Luciano) is a guy that made a little company starting from nothing. His company builds mechanical stuff and has tens of workers. He is the mechanical genious of Astromeccanica.

Last but not least Davide (in the photo) is a Master of Art in Physics and is a Ph.D. student in the Mars group of the Roma Tre University and he is working on spacecraft missions in the CNR. His main occupation today is the development of an instrument able to search for water on Mars, by in-situ tecniques.

We love music, science, travel, swimming and much more. Of course Astronomy is the first love!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Extraterrestrial life certainly exists and pheraps humans could discover it.

We expect no danger in such a discovery (only money needs: we haven't enough money for scientifical reaserch!).

Benefits are unpredictable: more than a copernican revolution, but probably mankind will remain in the barbarisms.

Most of the SETI@home computer time comes from David computers.
