1.yes,Thats why I take part!It will probably be found by accident and unfortunately not in my lifetime. We need to mature and develop before the discovery anyway as we are not ready. There are not enough enlightened (probably the wrong word, sorry) people to make good use of such a discovery; we are still too busy killing each other!
2.yes,in the hope that we may be helped.It may sound boring but a basic signal based on fundamental scientific facts about our universe, for example structure of an atom.
