Personal background
I was born in Sandviken, Sweden in 1972. When I was about 10 years old I stepped in to a computer store in Sandviken, and was totally hooked! I started nagging my parents to get me one. It took about a year of annoying before they bought me a Commodore 64... Now, I've got 2 PC's that is chewing SETI at all time when nothing else is up, and a few at work as well :)

My hobbies are:

Music - Pink Floyd, Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly, Depeche Mode, Jean Michel Jarre and so on.

Watching Movies - mostly SCI-FI and horror.

Reading Books - Philip K. Dick, Stephen King, Dean (R) Koontz, Clive Barker.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Certainly there are life on other planets. I'm not sure that we would recognize it as life, though. I like the idea that computer nerds using distributed computing would be the ones to discover an alien signal.
