| I am 32, I teach Art, mainly oil painting and love spending time on the computer. One of the best film's I have seen that relate's a bit to seti@home is STAR TREK 4 the voyage home , mainly because of the fact that the intelligent life that they met was not looking for humans, it was looking for whales. I believe as humans we miss a lot of things out there because we are so wrapped up with the premise that human life is far superior to all other life. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I do believe that extraterrestrial life does exist out there and I also believe that we will encounter them one day. Exactly when I don't know. One benefit I would hope for when we do make contact would be knowledge that could help prevent suffering. One danger maybe that any life we find, may find us a threat to all life everywhere. I think the project is a great idea and there should be more like it, I run seti@home mainly because I enjoy it so much! |
